This filtered light kills the P.acne bacteria that causes breakouts and with continued treatment is very effective in reducing the number of breakouts and frequency. The treatment works best when a patient receives treatments twice a week for the first four weeks and is then tapered off to once a month.Other great acne treatments include microdermabrasion.
